Singapore government is like a parent to all Singaporeans.

Remember in the early 80s they tell you how it is important not to have too many children. Stop at two, Lee Kuan Yew will tell you. Too many, it seems will be too much for the small resources that Singapore will produced. So succesful is the government propaganda that people infact did not stop at two. They decided not to have any children. Women decided not to get married unless it was with caucasians often belittling the local males.

now it seems that the more you give birth to, the bigger the reward will be. Fact is in the past even women who married foreigners may result in their children not being able to fight for citizenship if the children are born outside Singapore. That law has since been changed. Everyday Singaporeans now face with the prospect of having to fight for their career survivals with supposedly foreign talents who have little or no patriotism towards their new found country. But was it ordinary Singaporeans fault for not having enough people to sustain the nation’s economic growth?

Then to solve the problem of the girls not wanting to get married, SDU was formed. Yeah, that Single, desperate and ugly unit. Don’t know how many of you went through SDU but I know a lot of people went through it to get social networking than to look for lifetime partners.

now with inflation seeping into everybody’s everyday’s life, it has been painful. The government will not do anything about it, instead will kick you in the butt and tell you GST will further rise by another 2% even though the budget surplus is more than enough to pay for the GST rise and their salary increments. Instead they offer you simple solutions like “don’t eat branded bread”. Yeah, you heard that right. “Let them eat cakes!” was the cause of the French Revolution. I wonder if “Let them eat unbranded bread” has any implication on the general public.

First they tell you no bar top dancing then suddenly they say we have to be cool and open society so bar top dancing is good and okay. Then because of some idiots messing up the MRT system with chewing gums, the entire island is banned from chewing gums, making it the first country in the world to do so.

Then remember how they say that casino will not be built in Singapore because it is bad for you? But now they tell you in order for Singapore to survive, they need to reinvent itself and have not just one but two casinos. Sometimes you will get dizzy spells and cannot understand if they have any principles at all.
