Remember the woman who was trying to sell muffin but her muffin looked so bad that no one bother to buy from her. Her average sales was like $30 and then came along Channel 8 and their life saving show, where this woman, Felicia was introduced to a top chef from Orchard Hotel, Sunny Sia. You could see from the show that she wanted to make quiche but was good at pointing out that Singaporeans would probably prefer muffins to quiche.
But because of her good attitude compared with some other participants on the show, like the woman who wanted to do up some spicy good Indonesian food who blamed everything on everyone else except herself. Sometimes appearing on such reality show would be a publicity booster but yet one has to becareful because small mistakes can turn you into a monster only to be exaggerated by a thousand times.
While you will see how many Singaporeans complained about life, here’s one gutsy lady who actually signed up for the show hoping for a better future. She is already having the entrepeneurial spirit by planning her second stall. Perhaps Mediacrap can think of more similar crappy shows which will help itself and the participants to make more money rather than doing charity shows where they will take a good percentage of the donated amount.
