Channel 8 Helped Made This Woman $23,000 A Month

Remember the woman who was trying to sell muffin but her muffin looked so bad that no one bother to buy from her. Her average sales was like $30 and then came along Channel 8 and their life saving show, where this woman, Felicia was introduced to a top chef from Orchard Hotel, Sunny Sia. You could see from the show that she wanted to make quiche but was good at pointing out that Singaporeans would probably prefer muffins to quiche.

But because of her good attitude compared with some other participants on the show, like the woman who wanted to do up some spicy good Indonesian food who blamed everything on everyone else except herself. Sometimes appearing on such reality show would be a publicity booster but yet one has to becareful because small mistakes can turn you into a monster only to be exaggerated by a thousand times.

While you will see how many Singaporeans complained about life, here’s one gutsy lady who actually signed up for the show hoping for a better future. She is already having the entrepeneurial spirit by planning her second stall. Perhaps Mediacrap can think of more similar crappy shows which will help itself and the participants to make more money rather than doing charity shows where they will take a good percentage of the donated amount.

Will The Prosecuters Please Withdraw Charges Against Me If I Ever Slap A Singapore Airlines Stewardess?

So much for standing behind their Singapore girl. Singapore Airlines, I bet you a million bucks will not do anything further. Afterall, the husband of the woman in question sits on its subsidiary board. In this news report, the police prosecutors did an amazing withdrawal of charges against Madam Tan Siew Hoon after giving her a “warning”. Wouldn’t this be double standard if in future they start charging others? But if they do not start charging, then isn’t it free for all to start slapping air stewardess if you think her services are below par?

Let me tell you this, whoever is behind this decision is definitely making one of the biggest mistakes of his or her life. Come on, even if there is no corruption involve, wouldn’t you at least feel that there could be? Not necessary monetary corruption but moral and  civic consciousness corruption. Won’t you be sending the wrong signal across the world that Singapore legal system can be a joke? Of course we know from the past that it seems that for the same set of charges, foreign talents seems to be getting away with a slap in the wrist, this will take the epitome that elites will get off with just a “warning”, not even a slap in the wrist.

And for Singapore Airlines to have came out and said that they are behind their air stewardess in cases of assault, I am sure they are not doing enough in this case. So it is personal interests over the general good image of the Airlines. I am sure my blog will be one of many who will criticise the entire proceedings.
